White Pots
White is the easiest pot colour to use. It lifts dark foliage, keeps courtyards feeling light, and reads as crisp against timber, brick and render alike. This collection brings together every white and antique white planter in the range: glazed ceramics for indoors, terrazzo and stone finishes for outdoors, self watering designs for balconies, and sizes from a small cache pot to statement bowls and cylinders. The guide below covers materials, sizing and keeping white looking white.

More information
Bright white or antique white
There are two whites in this collection and they set different moods. The crisp whites, including the Harper bowls and cylinders, the white Terrazzo pieces and the glazed ceramics, read modern and architectural, and they hold their edge against dark walls and lush green planting. The antique whites, such as the Riley egg and bullet pots and the Cafestyle egg, carry a softly aged surface that suits Mediterranean, Hamptons and heritage settings, and they only improve as they weather. Decide which white matches the fixed materials around it, then buy every pot in that space from the same family; repetition is what makes grouped pots look deliberate.
Materials, from glazed ceramic to composite stone
The glazed ceramics and patterned pots, including the Dotty, Vibes and Panna designs, are happiest indoors or under cover, where their finish stays showroom clean. Terrazzo carries white with a fine stone speckle and enough weight to anchor a windy corner. The Harper and Gavin ranges bring coordinated bowls, drums, troughs and cylinders so one finish can run through a whole courtyard, with the White Harper Bowl the pick for a wide, low statement. For balconies, the Milano, Armour and Greenville self watering planters hold a water reservoir in the base, cutting summer watering to a top up once or twice a week.
Getting the size right
Indoors, use the cache pot method: leave the plant in its plastic nursery pot and choose a white pot 20mm to 50mm wider, so watering happens at the sink and the pot stays spotless. Outdoors, repot into a container 50mm to 100mm wider than the current root ball, always with drainage holes and a free draining mix. Egg and belly shapes narrow at the mouth, so plan the planting before the roots fill out; there are more of these silhouettes in the egg and round pots collection.
Keeping white looking white
White shows soil splash and water marks sooner than dark colours, but it also cleans faster. Raise outdoor pots on feet, keep mulch over the mix to stop rain bouncing dirt onto the sides, and wipe glazed surfaces or hose matte ones with a soft brush once a season. White also earns its keep in hot positions: a pale pot reflects sun rather than absorbing it, so roots stay cooler in exposed spots than they would in the equivalent from our black and charcoal pots collection.
Common questions
Will white pots look dirty quickly?
Outdoors they need an occasional rinse, and that is the honest answer. Choose antique white for high splash areas, since its aged finish absorbs wear gracefully, and keep bright glazed white for under cover and indoors.
Are white pots better in full sun?
Yes. Reflected heat keeps the root zone cooler in summer, which matters for west facing balconies and courtyards. It is the practical reason, beyond looks, to favour pale pots in Australia's hotter regions.
Can these pots go indoors and out?
The terrazzo, Harper, Gavin and antique white pieces are at home in both. The fine glazed ceramics are best indoors, and each listing notes what the pot is made for. The indoor pots collection gathers the inside only pieces in one place.
How does delivery work?
Every pot is delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95 and no minimum order. Advanced and large stock is freighted at cost.
