Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The White Studded Pot is a handcrafted glazed ceramic planter with a crisp white finish and a raised studded texture. Four sizes are available, from a 200mm pot holding about 5 to 7 litres of mix to a 520mm size taking 110 to 125 litres. White is the easiest pot colour to plant into, because it throws light back at dark foliage instead of competing with it.

Diameters are across the widest point, with approximate soil volumes.

  • 200mm wide, 20cm high, about 5 to 7 litres. Compact foliage and small specimens.
  • 310mm wide, 31cm high, about 22 to 26 litres. Feature plants and smaller shrubs.
  • 410mm wide, 41cm high, about 55 to 65 litres. Larger shrubs, a standard rose, a clipped ball.
  • 520mm wide, 54cm high, about 110 to 125 litres. Small trees and statement planting.

Sizing up is rarely a mistake: a larger volume of mix dries out more slowly.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Glazed ceramic in a round studded form, finished by hand, so no two pots are quite identical. No saucer is included. The same pot is made in a classic green glaze, sold separately.

Outdoors. The glaze is made for outdoor use and holds up in gardens, courtyards and entryways as well as indoors. White shows dust and hard water marks sooner than a dark glaze, which is a wipe down rather than a problem.

Drainage. Drainage holes are included. Use a free draining mix, keep the holes clear, and stand the pot on a saucer indoors.

The pot ships empty and boxed, packed to protect the glazed rim and base. Plants are sold separately. Ceramic at the 520mm size is heavy before it holds any soil, so position it first and fill it in place. Delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
