How is the gift card delivered?
By email, as soon as the order is paid. The email carries the card value, the code and a balance link. Nothing is posted, so there is no delivery charge and nothing to wait for.
Can I send it straight to the person?
Yes. Tick "Send it to someone else" and add their email, their name and a short message. The card goes to them with your name on it, and you get a receipt with the code for your own records.
Can I choose the day it is sent?
Yes. Pick a date up to 90 days ahead and the card is emailed that morning, Australian time. Leave the date empty and it goes the moment the order is paid.
What can it be spent on?
Anything on the site: more than 2,300 plants, trees, hedges, indoor plants, pots, potting mix, tools and garden care, delivered Australia wide.
Does it cover delivery?
Yes. The card is a form of payment, so it comes off the whole order including the delivery charge.
Can they use a discount code as well?
Yes. A discount code lowers the price first, then the gift card pays for what is left.
What if the order costs more or less than the card?
If the order costs more, they pay the difference the usual way. If it costs less, the balance stays on the card for next time.
Does it expire?
Cards are valid for 12 months from the day they are bought. The expiry date is printed in the gift card email.
Can they check the balance?
Yes. The balance link in the gift card email shows what is left at any time.
I typed the wrong email address
Email sales@nurserynearme.com.au with your order number and the right address and we will re-send the card. The code only works once, so nothing is lost.
Can it be refunded or swapped for cash?
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable once sent, as the law allows for gift cards. Plants bought with a card carry the same 30-day guarantee as any other order.
