Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The White Gavin Belly Pot is a plastic planter with a rounded belly profile and fine linear ridging across the surface, finished in white. It comes in three sizes, 350mm, 450mm and 570mm across, each with a drainage hole in the base. The curve is the point: a belly shape puts the widest soil volume low down where the roots are.

Three sizes, named for the width across the widest part of the belly.

  • 350mm. 35cm across and 27cm high. A good size for a single feature plant or a clipped ball beside a door.
  • 450mm. 45cm across and 35cm high. Enough depth for a shrub that will stay put for a few years.
  • 570mm. 57cm across and 42cm high. The size for a small tree, and the one that holds its own across a wide entry.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Textured white plastic. Rinse it with water or wipe it with a damp cloth. There is nothing to seal, oil or re-coat.

Outdoors. Built to withstand year-round outdoor conditions, and listed for indoor use as well. A light pot in an exposed, windy position wants ballast, so a layer of gravel in the base before the mix is sensible.

Drainage. A built-in drainage hole handles excess water. Indoors it needs a saucer, which is not included. One note on the shape: the rim is narrower than the belly, so a rootball that has filled the pot has to be eased out at repotting time rather than lifted straight up.

Pots ship empty, with no mix, plant or saucer, packed to travel. Position it on a stable, level surface before filling: the 570mm holds a lot of wet mix and is far easier to place while empty. Pots are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
