Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Brown Milano is an Italian made egg shaped planter moulded from 100 per cent recycled plastic, with a tray and reservoir in the base. It comes in three sizes, 380mm, 480mm and 580mm across, holding from about 35 litres up to about 110 litres of mix. The soft curve suits a modern courtyard or a traditional entry, and the reservoir means a large planting is not a daily chore.

  • Recycled, and recyclable again. Manufactured in Italy from 100 per cent recycled plastic, and fully recyclable at the end of its life.

  • A drainage plug you control. The drainage hole has a removable plug, so you can run the pot sealed or open it to drain outdoors.

Sizes and what fits in them

Widths are measured at the widest point, and soil volumes are approximate.

  • 380mm. 38cm across and 32cm high, about 35 to 40 litres. Indoor feature foliage, a herb planting or a small shrub.
  • 480mm. 48cm across and 40cm high, about 65 to 75 litres. An established shrub, or an indoor plant that needs real root room.
  • 580mm. 58cm across and 47cm high, about 95 to 110 litres. Enough for a small tree or a statement plant at an entry.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Recycled plastic in a brown finish, moulded to an egg profile. It is light for its size, which is what makes the 580mm workable on a balcony.

Outdoors. UV resistant and rated for indoor and outdoor use, including patios and commercial entries.

Drainage. Leave the plug in to run the reservoir as intended, and pull it out if the pot sits in the open through a wet summer. Indoors the reservoir does the job a saucer would.

Planters ship empty, with no plant and no potting mix. Choose the final position before you fill the 580mm, because at 95 to 110 litres of wet mix it will not move again without being emptied.
