Read on 10 October 2026. Every fact about another nursery comes from that nursery's own delivery, FAQ, about or terms pages on that date. Nursery Near Me is on the list because it delivers to the Gold Coast, and its paragraphs are ours: weigh them accordingly.
The Gold Coast sits in the middle of Australia's biggest cluster of wholesale growers, from the Logan and Beenleigh nurseries to the north to the Tweed and the Northern Rivers to the south, with Plants in a Box growing tubestock in the Currumbin Valley itself. A potted hedge ordered online here travels less than almost anywhere in the country. This guide covers what arrives and from where, delivery times, what Gold Coast gardens plant most, from the canal estates to Tamborine Mountain, and the other nurseries that deliver.
What arrives, and from where
Nursery Near Me's Gold Coast orders are grown by partner nurseries across South East Queensland and northern New South Wales, many of them within an hour of the coast. The grower confirms your plants before freight is booked, the freight is quoted with multiple freight companies and passed on at cost, and most Gold Coast orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days of dispatch, upright on a truck. Tubestock and garden goods come by parcel. Professional planting is available across the Gold Coast through our installation partner.

Gardening in the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast runs from salt-sprayed beachfront to the cooler, wetter hinterland around Tamborine and Springbrook. Near the beach, salt-tolerant screening such as lilly pilly, tuckeroo and coastal rosemary outlasts soft-leaved plants, and on the higher hinterland blocks frost can touch the garden in winter. Plant from autumn to spring and expect strong summer growth.

How to choose in the Gold Coast
- Canal and beachfront blocks: salt wind, so lilly pilly, tuckeroo, coastal rosemary and foxtail palms before anything tender.
- A privacy screen fast: Straight and Narrow or Resilience lilly pilly at 300mm, or a 45L for instant height.
- The hinterland: Tamborine and Springbrook get frost and cloud, so camellias, azaleas and hydrangeas thrive where the coast cannot grow them.
- Palms and tropical foliage: foxtails, golden canes and elephant ears travel by truck in 300mm pots and bags, confirmed with the grower first.
- No time to plant: installation across the Gold Coast from our install partner, priced per plant.
