Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Round Plain Ceramic Pot is a handmade indoor planter with a smooth, unadorned round profile, made by artisans in Vietnam. It comes in five sizes from 110mm to 310mm, each in White, Black, Cream or Blue. There are no drainage holes, so it is an indoor pot in the true sense: built to hold a plant and look calm doing it.

  • Handmade, so no two match exactly. Small variations in finish and shape are part of a hand thrown pot, and they are what stops a row of them looking machine stamped.
  • A shape that stays out of the way. The plain round form lets the plant do the talking on a shelf or a sideboard.

  • Five sizes. The 110mm suits a single succulent and the 310mm a floor standing plant, with three steps between.

Sizes and what fits in them

Outside diameter, height and approximate soil volume.

  • 110mm. 11cm across, 9cm tall, about 0.7 litres. One succulent, a small cactus or a herb seedling.
  • 140mm. 14cm across, 12cm tall, about 1.5 litres. A compact plant out of a 130mm nursery pot.
  • 180mm. 18cm across, 16.1cm tall, about 3 to 3.5 litres. Foliage such as a peace lily or a small fern.
  • 250mm. 25.3cm across, 22.1cm tall, about 7 to 8 litres. A small feature plant with a couple of years of growth in it.
  • 310mm. 31cm across, 26cm tall, about 14 to 16 litres. A statement indoor plant at floor level.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Ceramic with a smooth plain finish, handmade rather than mass moulded.

Outdoors. This one is indoor only. Keep it in a dry, protected position out of the weather, and clean it with a dry or barely damp cloth.

Drainage. There are no drainage holes and it is not self-watering, so water sparingly and never let it pool in the base. The easier method is to leave the plant in its nursery pot, drop that inside as a liner and lift it out to water. No saucer is included.

What to expect when it arrives

Pots ship empty and packed to travel, so a 180mm arrives ready for your own plant and mix. Expect slight tonal and shape differences between pots. Delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
