Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

This is a lightweight composite planter in a plain cylinder that narrows slightly towards the base, finished in a soft light grey the maker calls Green Earth. It sells in three sizes, 300mm, 400mm and 500mm across, rated for indoor and outdoor use. The finish is the reason to pick it: matte and earthy rather than glossy, so it sits behind foliage instead of competing with it.

Sizes and what fits in them

All three share the same tapered cylinder profile.

  • 300mm. 30cm across and 26cm tall, holding roughly 16 to 18 litres of mix. Indoor foliage plants, herbs, or a compact fern.
  • 400mm. 40cm across and 35cm tall, holding roughly 40 to 45 litres. Feature plants and shrubs, indoors or on a patio.
  • 500mm. The largest in the range, and the one to choose for a statement plant that has to hold a corner on its own.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Lightweight composite with a matte light grey surface. It handles regular watering and everyday exposure without the weight penalty of cast stone. Wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it with water.

Outdoors. Rated for outdoor use on patios, balconies and in gardens. We hold no frost rating for it, so in a hard frosting district treat it as a sheltered position planter.

Drainage. Drainage holes are included and it is not self watering. No saucer is supplied, so use one indoors to protect timber floors, and tip it out rather than leaving the planter standing in water.

What to expect when it arrives

The planter ships empty and packed light, without plants, potting mix or a saucer. The 300mm is an easy lift planted; the 500mm is worth siting before you fill it. Planters are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
