The Enna Ceramic Indoor Pot is a single size rounded cylinder in ceramic, with an earthy textured finish that suits rustic and modern rooms equally well. It measures 36cm across and 31cm high and holds roughly 22 to 26 litres of mix, which puts it in the range where an indoor plant stops looking like a houseplant and starts reading as a piece of furniture. It is built for indoor use.

Why you'll love it

  • Texture instead of gloss. The earthy surface has enough grain to catch light without shining, so it sits quietly next to timber and linen.
  • A shape that disappears. The rounded cylinder is deliberately plain, which lets the plant carry the display rather than the pot.
  • Real capacity. At 22 to 26 litres there is room for a proper root system, so a feature plant can stay in it for years rather than months.
  • Solid ceramic. Fired ceramic is stable and heavy enough to hold a top heavy plant upright indoors.

Sizes and what fits in them

This pot is sold in one size only.

  • 360mm. Listed at 36cm across and 31cm high, holding about 22 to 26 litres. That is enough mix for an indoor foliage plant stepping up from a smaller nursery pot, a feature houseplant, or a generous kitchen herb planting.
  • Where it sits. At this size it works on the floor beside a lounge or in a corner, rather than on a shelf or bench.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Ceramic with an earthy textured finish. Wipe it clean with a soft damp cloth. It has a solid feel, so decide where it is going before you fill it.

Outdoors. Indoor use only. It is not rated for outdoor conditions, so keep it inside rather than on an open patio or balcony.

Drainage. The specifications for this pot do not list a drainage hole, so plan for that. The safest method is to keep the plant in its nursery pot and use the Enna as a cover pot, lifting the inner pot out to water and letting it drain before it goes back. If you plant directly, water in measured amounts rather than soaking it.

What to expect when it arrives

Pots ship empty and packed to travel, with no plant, potting mix or saucer included. A 360mm ceramic pot has real heft, so bring it to its final position before planting rather than shifting it afterwards. Delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
