Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Tyson is a five tier metal plant stand, listed at 1080mm x 410mm, that stacks a pot collection vertically instead of spreading it across the floor. It takes up to 35kg spread over the tiers, and it is rated for indoor and outdoor use. The finish is a plain matt black, with a white option also listed.

What it does

  • Five tiers, narrow footprint. Pots sit at staggered heights across a 410mm frame, so the stand fits against a wall or into a corner without narrowing a walkway.
  • Rated to 35kg. That figure is the total across the whole frame, which covers a run of small and medium pots filled with damp potting mix.
  • Metal frame, minimal profile. A plain black structure that steps back behind the planting.
  • Indoors or outdoors. Rated for both, so it moves from a living room corner to a patio without any change in how it is used.

How to use it

Minimal assembly may be required depending on how the stand is packed. Set it on a level surface and load from the bottom up, heaviest pots lowest, so the centre of gravity stays low. Keep the total under 35kg, remembering a pot weighs a good deal more watered than dry.

Mix plant habits rather than matching them. Upright foliage plants work on the tiers you look at straight on, trailing plants up top so growth falls across the frame. Wipe the frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Outdoors, saucers keep drainage water off the tiers below.

What it suits

Where floor space is short. Small to medium pots holding foliage and trailing plants. Indoor corners and hallways where a stand turns dead space into a display, and balconies and courtyards where floor area is the constraint.

A grouped display. Building a collection. Five tiers let a group of the same plant read as deliberate rather than cluttered, and the height difference gives each one light. It is delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.

Not for. Large or heavy planters. The 35kg rating covers the whole stand, not each tier, and one big pot of wet mix accounts for most of it.
