The Omni Bowl is a low fibrecement planter in a grey terrazzo look finish, part of the Precinct Lite range and sold in 280mm, 340mm, 400mm and 510mm. A bowl sits wide and low, which is the right shape for succulents, layered plantings and anything with shallow roots, and it lets a plant spread sideways instead of forcing it upright.

Why you'll love it

  • A shape built for spreading plants. Wide and shallow suits succulents, tabletop arrangements and mixed plantings far better than a deep cylinder.
  • Lighter than concrete. Fibrecement holds the weight and texture of poured concrete while staying easy to reposition on a deck or a rooftop.
  • Terrazzo speckle without the pattern. A textured neutral grey that adds contrast to a paved courtyard and stays quiet indoors.
  • Drainage hole as standard. Important in a bowl, where a shallow root zone waterlogs faster than a deep one.

Sizes and what fits in them

Sizes are the diameter at the rim. Volumes are approximate mix capacity.

  • 280mm. 13cm high, about 4 to 5 litres. Succulents, small indoor plants and tabletop arrangements.
  • 340mm. 15cm high, about 7 to 9 litres. Foliage plants and small mixed plantings.
  • 400mm. 18cm high, about 13 to 15 litres. Feature plants and shallow rooted shrubs.
  • 510mm. 22cm high, about 26 to 30 litres. Statement plantings and layered displays with a centrepiece and trailers over the edge.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Fibrecement with a textured grey terrazzo look finish. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth or rinse it gently with water.

Outdoors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including patios, courtyards, balconies and styled commercial spaces. No frost or UV rating is published for the range, so we make no claim there. Sealing before planting is recommended and protects the finish.

Drainage. A drainage hole is built into every size. No saucer is included, and indoors you should use a saucer or tray to protect the surface underneath. A shallow bowl dries faster than a deep pot, so check it more often in summer.

What to expect when it arrives

Bowls ship empty and unplanted, boxed for transport, with no plant, mix or saucer included. Seal first, then plant. The 280mm can be planted anywhere and carried into place; the 510mm holds 26 to 30 litres of mix, so decide where it lives before you fill it. Delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
