The Garden Basics 5L Garden Pressure Sprayer Kit is a hand pumped sprayer for applying herbicides, pesticides, fertilisers and other liquid garden treatments with precision. It has a 5 litre polyethylene tank, a stainless steel lance, an adjustable tip running from fine mist to direct stream, and a spare seal kit.
Add the mixed solution to the tank, secure the lid, then use the pump action to build pressure. Adjust the nozzle and spray evenly across the target rather than to the point of run off. Follow the label directions of whatever product you are applying: the rate, the timing and the plants it is registered for come from that label, not from the sprayer. Afterwards vent the tank through the safety valve before opening it, rinse tank, lance and nozzle thoroughly, and store the unit empty. The spare seals cover the hardening that usually ends a sprayer.
Garden beds. Even coverage across a planted area is what this does well, and the tip drops back to a fine mist where foliage is soft.
Lawns. A full tank covers a domestic lawn in a pass or two, liquid fertiliser or herbicide. Kits are delivered Australia wide,.
Vegetable gardens. Precision counts most around edibles, where you want the product on the target and nowhere near the next row.
Where it stops. This is a hand pumped domestic sprayer, not a backpack or powered unit. Over acreage the constant re-pumping and the 5 litre capacity will slow you down.
