Seasol EarthCare White Oil Insect Spray is a ready to use contact insecticide made from natural paraffin oil, supplied in a 1 litre bottle at spray strength. It works physically rather than chemically, blocking the breathing pores of insects so they suffocate. Nothing needs mixing, so an infestation can be treated the day it is found.
Spray directly onto the pests and the surfaces they live on, until coverage is complete: undersides of leaves, stem junctions, and the soft tips where scale and mealy bug shelter. Anything missed is left untouched, so a slow thorough pass beats a fast heavy one. Apply when pests are present rather than to a calendar, and repeat while the infestation is active. It can be used year round, and on edible crops up to the day before harvest.
