Roundup Total Weedkiller is a 1 litre ready to use sprayer for weeds on hard surfaces and in cleared ground. It works on broadleaf weeds and grasses and kills down to the roots rather than only burning the top growth. It is the size that fits ordinary garden jobs: a driveway, a fenceline, weeds pushing up through paving.
Spray directly onto actively growing weeds until the foliage is wet. Coverage decides whether the root kill happens, so wet the whole plant rather than clipping the top, and watch for growth hiding at the base. Drought stressed or dusty plants take up less. Let the spray dry fully before anyone walks back across the treated area, and keep children and pets off it until it has. Read the label and follow the directions on it, because it sets out the registered uses, the rates and the precautions. Do not use it on lawns: Roundup for Lawns is the product for that job.
Paving, paths and driveways. Hard surfaces are the natural home for a total weedkiller, since nothing growing there is worth protecting.
Fencelines and edges. The strip along a fence, or the hard edge beside a lawn, is where weeds establish first, and spot treating early keeps the job small.
Rockeries and cleared beds. Between stones, and in ground with no planting yet, a spot treatment reaches what a hoe cannot.
