Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Grey Harper Egg Pot is a softly tapered planter in charcoal grey, made in four widths from 310mm to 540mm. It narrows at the base and swells through the middle, so a single specimen reads as a feature rather than a container. It is lightweight fibreglass composite, so even the 540mm can be moved by one person.

  • 310mm. Suits a 200mm nursery pot: herbs, succulents or a compact clipped ball.
  • 370mm. Suits a 250mm pot. The everyday courtyard size for gardenias, dwarf lilly pillies and small shrubs.
  • 440mm. Suits a 300mm pot, with root volume for a medium shrub or a small feature palm.
  • 540mm. Suits a 400mm pot. A dwarf citrus or olive will sit here happily for several years.

Material, weathering and stability

Fibreglass composite will not absorb water and split the way unsealed terracotta can in a cold winter. Be realistic about one thing: any dark finish softens after several summers of hard western sun. Low weight also means a tall plant can tip the pot in wind, so add gravel or a paver to the base on exposed and coastal sites.

Drainage and care

Keep the drainage hole clear, and sit the pot on feet so water escapes and the deck underneath dries. Use a premium potting mix rather than garden soil, which compacts in a container and drowns roots. Clean with warm soapy water, not solvents or a pressure washer.
