How delivery to Geelong works

  1. 1Order online. Your confirmation email arrives straight away and the grower is asked to confirm your plants.
  2. 2Freight is quoted with multiple freight companies and passed on at cost, with no margin added. One truck carries a whole garden, so adding more plants from the same grower adds very little to the freight.
  3. 3You get the delivery window by email. Allow 3 to 7 business days from dispatch for potted plants, and a little longer at the far end of a regional run. The exact window shows on each product page and at checkout.
  4. 4Plants travel upright and arrive at your door. If one arrives in poor shape, send a photo within 30 days and we sort it out with a replacement or a refund.

Gardening in Geelong

Geelong and the Bellarine are drier than Melbourne, with salt wind on the Surf Coast and heavy clay inland. Coastal natives, myoporum, star jasmine and tough hedging do well, and summer watering is essential on the sandy coast. Autumn planting is best.
