David Grays Fipronil Concentrate is a 1 litre insecticide concentrate for termites and nuisance ants, diluted with water before use. The active ingredient is fipronil, and it works by colony transfer rather than contact knockdown: insects pick it up, carry it back and spread it through the nest. How much, where and against what is set by the product label.
Read the label before you open the bottle and follow the label directions. The mixing rate, the sites it is registered for and the pests it is registered against are all printed there, and those are the only rates that apply: do not work from a figure quoted anywhere else, including a figure for another brand of the same active. In broad terms the concentrate is diluted with water and applied to nests, target areas and perimeter zones, where insects contact it and carry it back.
Wear the protection the label specifies, mix only what the job needs, and store the container closed, upright and out of reach of children and pets.
