The Sherlock 100L Steel Tray Wide Wheel Wheelbarrow is the heavy end of the range: a 0.9mm powder coated steel tray on a fully welded frame, holding 100 litres. Choose it if you are shifting soil, rubble and mixed concrete rather than leaf litter. It arrives fully assembled.
Load over the axle and fill level with the rolled lip. A heaped tray of wet soil is heavier than it looks, and that weight belongs on the wheel.
Check your access first: the barrow runs 1555mm long, 670mm wide and 670mm high, and the tray is fixed rather than folding. Wash concrete, fertiliser and manure out the same day, because powder coating protects steel only while it is intact. Keep the tyre inflated and store it out of the weather.
Renovation and building work. Sand, rubble and mixed concrete are heavy, abrasive loads, and a steel tray carries them without flexing or splitting.
Bulk garden materials. Soil, mulch and compost move faster in 100 litre loads, particularly when you are spreading across a whole bed.
