Yates Zero Rapid Gel is a ready to use weed killer supplied in a 200ml squeeze bottle and applied as a gel straight onto the weed, not sprayed. Because nothing is atomised there is no spray drift, which is what makes it workable in a planted bed, in a pot or along a path where a fine mist would settle on everything nearby.

What it does

  • Gel, not spray. The squeeze applicator puts the product exactly where you place it, so there is no drift onto neighbouring foliage or over a fence line.
  • Visible action in about an hour. Most weeds show visible symptoms within one hour, and the gel works through to the roots rather than scorching the top growth alone.
  • Rainproof after 30 minutes. Half an hour of dry weather after application is enough, which matters in changeable spring weather.
  • Non-residual in the soil. It is not active in the soil once applied, so treated ground can be replanted after 7 days.

How to use it

Squeeze the gel directly onto the leaves of the weed, using enough to coat the leaf surface. The gel treats whatever it lands on, so keep it off the foliage of plants you intend to keep.
