Yates Liquid Copper Fungicide is a 200ml concentrate for controlling fungal disease on fruit, vegetables and ornamental plants. It is diluted with water and sprayed onto foliage, and one bottle makes up to 66 litres of finished spray, which is a great deal of coverage for a home garden. The easy measure bottle lets you draw off an accurate dose.
This is a registered garden chemical and the label directions must be followed. Dilute the concentrate with water at the rate the label gives for your crop and disease, then spray the foliage thoroughly so leaf surfaces are properly wetted. Time applications for when conditions favour disease development. Do not apply if rain is likely before the spray has dried, because it will simply wash off. Rates, timing and the plants it is registered for are all on the label, and nothing written here replaces reading it.
Fruit trees. Leaf curl is the classic reason a home gardener buys copper, and a mature tree is where the 66 litre yield pays for itself.
