Yates Zero Weed Killer Super Concentrate is a non-selective, systemic weed killer supplied as a 1L bottle at 490g/L. One litre makes up to 250 litres of made-up spray, so it is built for clearing a whole overgrown bed or a long fence line rather than spot spraying a few weeds.
Dilute according to the label directions and spray directly onto weeds that are actively growing. Weeds under heat or drought stress take up very little, so water first and wait for fresh growth if the ground has been dry. The mixing rates, and the situations this product is registered for, are on the label, and the label directions must be followed.
Because it is non-selective it will kill any plant it contacts. Spray on a still day, keep the nozzle low, and shield anything nearby you intend to keep.
Clearing before planting. Beds and turf sites can be sprayed out and then replanted, because no residual activity is left waiting in the soil.
Paths, driveways and fence lines. Hard surfaces, lawn edges and rockeries are where a non-selective spray earns its keep, with nothing desirable growing to protect.
