Roundup Herbicide Liquid Concentrate is a 5 litre non selective, water soluble concentrate for weed control at a scale where ready to use bottles stop making sense. Diluted and sprayed, one container treats up to 5,000 square metres, and it leaves no residue in the soil. This is a product for acreage, long boundaries and ground being cleared before planting.

What it does

  • Treats up to 5,000 square metres. Roughly twenty tennis courts from one container, which is where a concentrate beats a premix on cost.
  • Systemic and non selective. It moves through the plant rather than only burning the leaf, and does not distinguish between species, so it kills most plants it contacts.
  • Handles annuals and hard perennials. Quick growing annual weeds such as chickweed and sow thistle, and tougher targets including blackberry and bamboo.
  • Non residual, child resistant packaging. Planting can follow 7 days after treatment, and the container is child resistant for storage.

How to use it

Dilute with water and apply according to the label directions. The mixing rate is not the same for every weed and every situation, which is why it is printed on the label rather than fixed at one figure, and the label also carries the registered uses and the precautions. Read it and follow it. Spray onto actively growing weeds and cover the foliage evenly rather than drenching one patch and skipping the next, because a perennial weed regrows from whatever was missed. Allow drying time before rain, and wait 7 days before planting treated ground.
