Plant Doctor Activ8mate is an all-purpose liquid fertiliser and soil inoculant that blends organic ingredients with conventional nutrients. Made with fish, seaweed, humic and fulvic acids and trace elements, it feeds the plant above ground and the beneficial microbes in the soil below.

Why you'll love it

  • One bottle for the whole yard. It is made for lawns, garden plants, vegetables, trees and natives, so there is no need to keep a separate feed for each.
  • It feeds the soil as well as the plant. Fish, seaweed and humic and fulvic acids nourish soil biology, which supports soil health over the long term alongside green growth.
  • Suited to Australian lawns. It is recommended for buffalo, kikuyu and couch, as well as edible gardens and ornamental beds.
  • Used all year. It is an all-season feed, simple enough for a new gardener and used by landscapers and turf professionals too.

How to use it

Shake well and dilute at no stronger than 1 part in 100. The general rate for lawns and gardens is 1ml per sqm, which is 100ml per 100 sqm. In a watering can, use 10 to 30ml per 9L, and half that rate for natives, orchids, African violets and ferns. Apply fortnightly in the warmer months and less often, or at lower strength, in the cooler months. Water in lightly afterwards, and do not mix it with iron products.

What's in it

NPK 8-1-4 plus micronutrients, with fish hydrolysate, seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum), humic and fulvic acids and a blend of trace elements.

Sizes

  • 1L. The smallest bottle, for pots, a vegetable patch or a small lawn.
  • 4L. The middle size, for a suburban lawn and garden fed through the seasons.
  • 10L. The bulk container, for large lawns, big gardens, landscapers and turf managers.
