The Gorilla Carts 200L Poly Dump Cart is the largest cart in the range, rated to 544kg with a 200 litre polyethylene tub on a high gauge steel frame. A patented 2-in-1 handle converts from a pull handle into a trailer hitch, so the same cart works behind you on foot or behind a ride-on mower or ATV. It is built for acreage, larger properties and anyone regularly moving material by the cubic metre.

What it does

  • Carries 544kg on four wheels. The load sits on a balanced chassis rather than a single barrow wheel.
  • Converts to a tow behind trailer. The 2-in-1 handle becomes a hitch for a mower or ATV.
  • Tips the whole load. A quick release lever gives a full dump, so the tub empties in one action rather than by shovel.
  • Runs 13 inch pneumatic wheels. Larger tyres on a steel one piece hub roll through soft ground and over ruts where a smaller wheel digs in.

How to use it

The cart is 1150mm long, 730mm wide and 660mm high, so measure your gates and the gap beside the house before ordering. Load over the axles and keep the weight even, because a heap piled against one end makes the cart hard to steer and hard to hold once it is moving downhill.

When towing, connect the hitch and take corners wide, since a loaded cart tracks inside the line of the mower. Tip only on level ground and stand clear of the tub as it goes over. Hose the tub after wet loads and store the cart undercover to protect the tyres and the frame.

What it suits

Use on acreage and rural blocks. Firewood, feed, fencing material, soil and gravel over distances where carrying it is not realistic.

Use for landscaping and heavy garden work. Bulk mulch and soil, advanced plants in large pots, and clearing green waste in far fewer trips.
