The Terrazzo Giant Egg is a deep bellied round planter: a fibreglass core wrapped in a real terrazzo shell, which brings it to roughly a quarter of the weight of traditional terrazzo. It runs from 40cm across up to a 110cm centrepiece, in six sizes and eleven finishes. Choose it where you want the presence of stone without the load.

Material. The fibreglass core carries the strength, the terrazzo shell the surface. Empty weights climb 1kg, 3kg, 7kg, 10kg, 20kg and 30kg.
Outdoors. Dulux Weathershield custom spray colours carry a 15 year guarantee against blistering, peeling and flaking, and almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour can be sprayed to order for an extra $60. We publish no frost rating for this range, so keep smaller pots under cover in hard frosting districts.
Drainage. Keep the drainage holes clear and stand the pot on feet. Cover each hole with fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, which clogs. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix rather than garden soil. Indoors, sit it on a saucer.
Pots ship empty and unplanted, packed to travel. The standard terrazzo finish is dispatched in 2 to 5 business days, while custom spray colours are made to order, so allow 2 to 3 weeks. Orders are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95. The 110 x 95cm is a two person lift at 30kg empty, so place it before filling.
