The Terrazzo Divider Trough is a tall, narrow planter built on a fibreglass core wrapped in a real terrazzo shell, at roughly a quarter of the weight of traditional terrazzo. Three sizes run from 75 x 20 x 60cm holding 90 litres up to 100 x 35 x 80cm holding 280 litres. It does a job most pots cannot: hold a planted screen at standing height on a narrow footprint.
Listed as length by width by height, with soil volume and empty weight.
Material. A fibreglass core with a terrazzo shell, sold in the terrazzo finish. The core gives it flex that solid terrazzo lacks, though a sharp knock can mark the shell.
Outdoors. The surface weathers gently and the speckle holds its character with age. We hold no frost rating for it, so keep it sheltered in hard frost districts. A tall, narrow planter also catches wind.
Drainage. Drainage holes are provided. Keep them clear, raise the trough on feet, and cover each hole with fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, which clog. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix. Indoors it needs a tray.
