Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The StoneLite Tub is a tapered pot cast from glass reinforced concrete. Nine sizes run from 30 x 30cm holding 20 litres up to 112 x 112cm holding 1,100 litres, in eleven finishes. The weight saving is the point: the 56 x 56cm takes 140 litres of mix yet is only 15kg empty.

  • 30 x 30cm to 42 x 42cm, 20 to 58 litres. Herbs, succulents or a clipped ball, at 4kg to 9kg empty.
  • 48 x 48cm to 56 x 56cm, 85 to 140 litres. The everyday feature size: a dwarf citrus or a strappy leaf clump.
  • 75 x 75cm, 330 litres. Root run for a small tree, at 30kg empty.
  • 90 x 90cm to 112 x 112cm, 570 to 1,100 litres. Entry statement pots for advanced stock, 95kg before soil.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. A cement based shell reinforced with glass fibre, cast in a mould, then left in the standard finish or spray coated. It resists impact well, but a hard drop onto pavers can still chip an edge.

Outdoors. The raw surface marks and mellows with age, which is what most people want. For a colour that holds steady, take the custom spray finish.

Drainage. Drainage holes are provided. Keep them clear, raise the pot on feet, and cover each hole with fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, because both clog. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix rather than garden soil.
