The Delicate Pink Vibes Indoor Plant Pot is a round indoor pot made from 100 percent recycled plastic, with a decorative textured surface in a soft pink. It is designed and made in Holland by Elho and produced using wind energy, which makes it one of the better options if the environmental side of a purchase matters to you. Two sizes are sold, 160mm and 220mm, and neither has drainage holes.

Both sizes suit indoor foliage, and the difference between them is real rather than marginal.

  • 160mm. Listed at 16.1cm across and 14.8cm high, holding roughly 2 to 3 litres. Right for cuttings, small indoor plants and compact foliage on a desk or shelf.
  • 220mm. Listed at 22cm across and 20.2cm high, holding roughly 5 to 6 litres. Suits an established houseplant, a peace lily or a maidenhair moving up a size.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Recycled plastic, sturdy and easy to clean with a damp cloth. It will not chip like ceramic if it gets knocked off a bench.

Outdoors. Indoor use only. It is not rated for outdoor positions, so keep it away from a hot window and off the balcony.

Drainage. There are no drainage holes, so treat it as a cover pot. Leave the plant in its nursery pot, lift it out to water, let it drain, then put it back. If you do plant directly into it, water in small amounts and check the mix with a finger before adding more. No saucer is needed or included.
