Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Terrazzo Divider Trough Saucer is the long, narrow base made for the divider troughs in this range. A fibreglass core wrapped in a real terrazzo shell brings it to roughly a quarter of the weight of traditional terrazzo. Three lengths and eleven finishes are available.

What it does

  • Handles a long footprint. A trough sheds water along its whole length, and a matched base catches all of it.
  • Three lengths, all 4cm deep. 79 x 24cm at 2kg, 89 x 32cm at 4kg and 104 x 39cm at 8kg, measured across the outside.
  • Liftable at full size. The largest is 8kg, which one person can still place accurately.
  • Eleven finishes, custom colour included. Choose the standard terrazzo, or a Dulux Weathershield custom spray backed by a 15 year guarantee against blistering, peeling and flaking. Almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour can be matched for an extra $60.

How to use it

Match the saucer to the base of the trough rather than its rim. The dimensions above are outside measurements, so check the planter base before ordering.

Place the saucer first and level it, then set the trough onto feet within it so water drains freely. Empty it after a heavy watering, and after rain if the trough is outdoors. In the planter, cover the holes with fibreglass flyscreen, not fabric or geofabric, which clog, add a 50mm layer of 10mm gravel, and fill with a quality premium potting mix rather than garden soil.

Room and space division. A planted trough breaking up an open living area stands on finished flooring, so runoff has to be contained.

Balcony screening lines. Long troughs along a rail shed a lot of water, and keeping it off the level below matters in an apartment.

Entry and hospitality runs. Where several troughs line up, a matched base under each keeps the run reading as one piece.

It collects water, it does not drain it, so tip it out rather than leaving a trough standing in it. Terrazzo finishes dispatch in 2 to 5 business days; custom spray colours are made to order, so allow 2 to 3 weeks. Delivered Australia wide, with a minimum order of $300 before delivery.
