The Antique White CafeStyle Egg Pot is a hand crafted ceramic pot finished in a warm antique white, in four sizes from 250mm to 500mm. Each pot is painted individually using traditional pottery techniques, so no two are quite identical. It suits the space just outside the back door, where herbs and edibles want to be within reach.

Four sizes are stocked. Choose on the mature size of the plant, or size up for a long run before repotting.

  • 250mm. 25cm across and 25cm high, around 18 to 20 litres. Herbs, small edibles and compact plants.
  • 310mm. 31cm across and 31cm high, around 28 to 30 litres. Feature plants and leafy edibles.
  • 400mm. 40cm across and 33cm high, around 45 to 50 litres. Shrubs and citrus. Heavy once filled.
  • 500mm. 50cm across and 43cm high, around 75 to 80 litres. Large feature plants and productive edible plantings.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand crafted ceramic with an antique white finish. The 250mm and 310mm sizes are moderate to lift; the 400mm and 500mm are heavy before you add mix, so plan the position first.

Outdoors. Suited to outdoor use in protected and open positions, including patios, courtyards, balconies and alfresco areas. Clean it with a damp cloth or a gentle rinse.

Drainage. Drainage holes are included and there is no self watering reservoir. No liner is needed. Saucers are sold separately, and you will want one if the pot sits on a hard indoor floor.

What to expect when it arrives

Each pot ships empty and unplanted, packed carefully to protect the hand finished surface. Expect slight variation in tone and texture: that is a hand painted finish, not a fault. The 500mm size is a two person lift. Pots are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
