The White Wash Timber Crate is a rectangular timber planter box, 700mm long, 400mm wide and 400mm high, finished in a soft white wash. It is the shape for a run of planting rather than a single specimen: herbs along a kitchen wall, colour down the edge of a patio, a mixed planting on a landing.

Drainage. No drainage holes are listed for this crate, so use a liner when you plant into it. A liner protects the timber, holds soil moisture and lets you set drainage on your own terms. Sitting potted plants inside works as well and keeps the timber dry.
