The Gorilla Carts 115L Poly Dump Cart is a four wheel garden cart with a tipping tray, rated to 272kg. The tub is UV protected polyethylene on a high gauge steel frame, and a quick release lever tips the whole load out in one movement. It is built for the gardener or property owner who moves soil, mulch and green waste often enough that a wheelbarrow has become the slow way to do it.

What it does

  • Dumps the full load at once. The quick release system tips the tub completely, so mulch and soil go where you want them without unloading by hand.
  • Turns in its own length. Zero turn 360 degree steering lets the cart follow you through gateways and between beds.
  • Will not rust. The polyethylene tub is impact resistant and UV protected, and it hoses out clean.
  • Rolls over rough ground. The 10 inch pneumatic tyres carry a load across grass, gravel and uneven soil better than a hard wheel.

How to use it

The cart measures 1000mm long, 600mm wide and 510mm high, so check your gates and side access before ordering. Load over the axles and spread the weight evenly. The 272kg rating assumes a balanced load, and a heap thrown against one end makes the cart hard to steer and harder to hold on a slope.

Tip only on level ground, and stand to the side of the handle rather than in front of the tub as it goes over. Hose the tub out after wet or fertilised loads, keep an eye on tyre pressure, and store the cart undercover where you can.

What it suits

Use for bulk garden material. Soil, potting mix, mulch, compost, gravel and green waste, in the quantities that turn a barrow into a two hour job.

Use for landscaping and property maintenance. Moving plants and materials around a build, and clearing prunings back to the pile.
