Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Black Terrazzo Omni Bowl is a low, wide fibrecement bowl with a speckled black terrazzo look finish, sold in four sizes from 280mm to 510mm. Fibrecement gives you the presence of concrete at a fraction of the weight, which matters on a balcony or a tiled floor. It is the shape to reach for when you want width and a low profile rather than height.

Why you'll love it

  • Concrete look without concrete weight. Fibrecement is far easier to manoeuvre than cast concrete and still reads as solid.
  • Terrazzo speckle does the work. The textured black finish carries visual interest on its own, so a single simple plant is enough.
  • Drainage hole included. Water leaves the base instead of sitting in a shallow bowl, which is where bowl plantings usually fail.

Sizes and what fits in them

Four sizes, measured by diameter. Bowls are shallow, so the soil volumes below matter more than the width.

  • 280mm, 13cm tall, about 4 to 5 litres. Succulents, small indoor plants and tabletop arrangements.
  • 340mm, 15cm tall, about 7 to 9 litres. Foliage plants and small mixed plantings.
  • 400mm, 18cm tall, about 13 to 15 litres. A feature plant or a shallow rooted shrub.
  • 510mm, 22cm tall, about 26 to 30 litres. Layered bowl displays and larger feature planting.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Fibrecement with a textured black terrazzo look surface. Wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it gently.

Outdoors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We recommend sealing the surface with an appropriate sealant before you plant, which protects the finish and adds to its working life. We do not rate it frost proof, so in frosting districts keep it under eaves over winter.

Drainage. A drainage hole is included and no liner is needed. No saucer is supplied, so order one separately if the bowl is going on an indoor floor or a timber surface.

Bowls ship empty and packed for transport, without potting mix. Even the 510mm is light for its size, so one person can handle it and reposition it once planted. Pots are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
