It is made by hand in Vietnam and comes in two sizes, 250mm and 340mm. Choose it where the pot is meant to be looked at as much as the plant.

Sizes and what fits in them

Two sizes are stocked, and the figures below describe the ceramic body.

  • 250mm. About 27cm across and 34.7cm tall, holding roughly 12 to 14 litres of mix. Suits one upright feature plant such as a peace lily, a rubber plant or a compact palm.
  • 340mm. About 36.9cm across and 33.6cm tall, holding roughly 18 to 22 litres. The floor standing option for broader foliage plants.

Caught between the two, take the larger: watering is more forgiving in more mix.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Ceramic with acacia timber legs, finished in black with a linear texture. Ceramic is heavy for its size, so decide where it is going before you fill it.

Outdoors. This is an indoor pot only. The timber legs are not built to stand in weather, so keep it out of rain and wipe the acacia dry if it gets splashed.

Drainage. There are no drainage holes and no saucer is included. Leave the plant in its plastic grow pot, sit that inside the ceramic, and lift it out to water so it drains before it goes back.
