Seamungus is a granular soil and plant conditioner made by composting seaweed, fish, humic acid and manure, supplied here in a 15kg bag. It works on the soil as much as the plant, which is why it is used to bring stressed gardens back rather than only to push growth. It suits gardeners who want to fix the ground beneath the planting instead of feeding over the top of poor soil.

What it does

  • Conditions soil and plant together. It improves soil structure while supporting plant health, so the benefit outlasts a single feed.
  • Composted, not blended. The seaweed, fish, humic acid and manure are composted into the finished product, which is what makes it gentle enough for broad garden use.
