Charlie Carp All Purpose Concentrate is a fast acting liquid fertiliser made from whole European carp, supplied as a 1L bottle of concentrate. It carries protein, omega-3 oils and trace elements, and it feeds through both the soil and the leaf. One bottle covers the lawn, the vegetable patch and the trees.

What it does

  • Whole carp formula. Made from whole European carp, so it is high in protein and omega-3 oils rather than being a straight mineral salt feed.
  • Trace elements included. It supplies the minor nutrients plants and soil need alongside the majors, which is where a lot of tired growth actually begins.
  • Works straight away. As a liquid it is available to the plant immediately, unlike a granular feed waiting on moisture and warmth.
  • One litre makes up to 300 litres. That is the case for concentrate: a single bottle covers a long run of feeding in most home gardens.

How to use it

Dilute according to the directions on the label, then apply to the soil or over the foliage. The label carries the rates for each situation, and those directions should be followed rather than guessed at, because a concentrate this strong is easy to overdo.

On lawns, apply evenly across the whole area rather than in heavy patches, which is what gives even turf colour instead of dark streaks.
