Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Black Mona is a freestanding arched plant frame in PE coated metal, 200cm high, 100cm wide and 30cm deep, finished in black. Eight tiers run up and over the arch, with hanging hooks along the top, so it holds a whole plant collection in a footprint barely wider than a doorway, indoors or out.

What it does

  • Height without floor space. Two metres of display on a 100cm by 30cm footprint, which is the trade a balcony or narrow entry needs.
  • Eight tiers plus hooks. Shelving up both sides of the arch for potted plants, and hooks along the top for hanging baskets and trailing growth.
  • Carries a real load. Rated to 99kg across the frame, so it takes filled and watered pots, not only light decorative pieces.
  • PE coated metal. The polyethylene coating over the metal is what makes outdoor use viable.

How to use it

The stand requires assembly before use. Build it on the ground, then site it on a flat, level surface: an arch this tall is only as stable as what it stands on. Load the heaviest pots onto the lower tiers and keep light, trailing plants and hanging baskets up high.

Stay with small to medium pots. The tiers are 30cm deep, so a wide planter is the wrong fit even though the frame is rated to 99kg overall. Wipe the metal with a damp cloth as needed. Outdoors, a sheltered position under an eave or patio roof keeps the coating looking new far longer.

Outdoor vertical displays. Vertical displays in gardens, on patios, balconies and in courtyards, where the arch reads as a garden structure rather than a shelf unit. Climbers and trailing vines can be trained up through it.
