Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Stone Art Egg is a self watering pot in a grey stone finish, made from a resin and stone powder composite and sold in 330mm, 380mm, 450mm and 550mm. It looks and feels like carved stone but weighs a fraction of it, and a Water Minder reservoir inside rehydrates the mix between waterings.

Sizes and what fits in them

Sizes are the diameter at the widest point. Volumes are approximate mix capacity.

  • 330mm. 29cm high, about 20 to 25 litres. Foliage plants and compact shrubs, and the size that suits a balcony or a narrow entry.
  • 380mm. 33cm high, about 30 to 35 litres. Feature plants and decorative shrubs, the working size for a patio.
  • 450mm. 38cm high, about 45 to 50 litres. Statement plants and small trees.
  • 550mm. 45cm high, about 75 to 80 litres. Large feature plants and architectural greenery you want to leave in place for years.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Resin and stone powder composite with a textured grey stone finish. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth or rinse it with water.

Outdoors. Built for outdoor use in all seasons, and resistant to weather, frost and UV, so it holds its colour rather than chalking off in full sun. That covers exposed decks, rooftops and open garden beds.

Drainage. Drainage holes are included in every size alongside the reservoir, so surplus water leaves the base instead of sitting under the root ball. No saucer is supplied, and one is worth adding on a finished surface.

Pots ship empty and unplanted, boxed for transport, with no plant or mix included. The 330mm can be carried and planted in one go; the 550mm should be positioned first, because 75 to 80 litres of wet mix stops it being movable. Delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
