Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Atlantis Sentry is the largest piece in the Atlantis range: 78cm across, 149cm tall, and 600 litres of planting volume. It is hand made in Vietnam and double fired for frost resistance, with the same heavily textured aged glaze that runs through the range. At this scale it is not a pot you decorate a corner with. It is a built element, closer to a column than a planter.

The Sentry is made in a single size, quoted as outside width by height.

  • 78cm by 149cm, 600 litres. Enough for a small tree, a mature olive or a large palm, with room for the roots to run.
  • As a pair. Two flanking a gate or a driveway do the work of masonry piers without the concrete.
  • Left empty. At 600 litres and 168kg it is a finished object in its own right.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand made ceramic from Vietnam, double fired, glazed in textured natural aged tones. Empty weight is 168kg.

Outdoors. Frost resistance comes from the double firing, and the finish is meant to weather. The glaze will patina in sun and rain rather than hold its arrival colour.

Drainage. Keep the drainage holes clear and stand the pot on feet so water leaves freely. Screen each hole with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, which clog. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix rather than garden soil, and avoid aggressive root systems, which damage any planter. Under cover it still needs a tray.
