Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Atlantis Samos is the narrow pot in the range: 39cm across, 86cm tall, and 90 litres of planting volume in a footprint most tall pots cannot match. It is hand made in Vietnam, double fired for frost resistance, and finished in the same textured aged glaze as the rest of the Atlantis pieces. At 38kg empty it is also the easiest of the tall ones to position.

  • 39cm by 86cm, 90 litres. Enough soil for a slim conifer, a clipped standard, a sansevieria or a single upright succulent.
  • For narrow planting. The tall form pairs well with something soft spilling over the rim, since the pot supplies the height.
  • In a row. Three or four at even spacing read as a low screen along a fence without taking bed width.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand made ceramic from Vietnam, double fired, with a heavily textured aged glaze in natural tones. Empty weight 38kg.

Outdoors. Frost resistance comes from the double firing, and the glaze is designed to weather rather than stay uniform. The surface will patina outside, which is the intended look.

Drainage. Keep the drainage holes clear and raise the pot on feet. Cover each hole with one layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, because both clog. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix, never garden soil. Indoors it needs a saucer.
