Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Atlantis Open Jar is a large hand-made Vietnamese ceramic vessel, double-fired and finished in a textured aged glaze. It comes in two sizes, 53 x 79cm holding 200 litres and 68 x 87cm holding 260 litres. At this scale it is a piece of garden architecture first and a planter second.

  • Immovable once placed. 58 kg and 110 kg empty. That is the point in an exposed courtyard, but placement is a one time decision.

  • 53 x 79cm, 200 litres. A single advanced palm, a citrus, an olive or a clipped feature shrub. Deep enough that summer watering stays manageable.
  • 68 x 87cm, 260 litres. The size for a small tree or a multi-trunk palm where you want presence at an entry or a pool surround.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand-made ceramic from Vietnam, double-fired, with the aged glaze over a textured body. Differences in tone across a single jar are part of the finish.

Outdoors. Frost resistant and intended to live outside permanently. Expect the glaze to keep weathering rather than hold a factory finish.

Drainage. It is drilled for drainage. Keep them clear and raise the jar on pot feet so water escapes freely. Cover each hole with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, which clogs, then a 50mm layer of 10mm gravel and a premium potting mix, never garden soil.
