Atlantis Olympia Pot

The Atlantis Olympia Pot is a tall hand-made Vietnamese ceramic planter in one size, 35 x 59cm outside, holding 10 litres. It is double-fired and finished in the textured aged glaze that runs through the range. Nearly twice as tall as it is wide, it adds height without spreading across the ground.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand-made ceramic from Vietnam, double-fired, with the aged glaze over a textured body. Variation between pieces is inherent to the process.

Outdoors. Frost resistant and built to live outside year round. The glaze looks weathered on arrival and keeps patinating.

Drainage. It is drilled for drainage. Keep them clear and raise the pot on feet so water escapes freely. Cover each hole with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, which clogs, then a 50mm layer of 10mm gravel and a premium potting mix, never garden soil. Indoors it needs a saucer.
