The Tumbleweed 150L Gedye Compost Bin is the small end of the Gedye range, sized for a courtyard, a unit garden or a household that fills a kitchen caddy rather than a wheelbarrow. It arrives ready to use with no assembly, and it is light enough to shift when the sun moves or a bed gets rebuilt.

What it does

  • 150 litres, straight out of the box. No panels, no screws and no tools: it is ready to fill the day it lands.
  • Open topped by design. This model is supplied uncovered, which makes filling and turning quick, and leaves the contents open to rain.
  • Light enough to reposition. Portability is the point of the smaller Gedye: the bin follows the garden, not the reverse.

How to use it

Stand the bin directly on soil rather than pavers or concrete, so worms and soil organisms can work up into the base.
