Seasol 25L Lawn Top Dress Mix is a repair blend for levelling low spots and bringing thin, worn turf back. It is treated with Seasol GOLD and carries balanced nutrients, iron, calcium, trace elements and a wetting agent through the mix, and it is Red Tick certified to Australian premium standards. It is safe on all soil types and all lawn varieties, including Buffalo.

What it does

  • Feeds for up to three months without burning. The nutrients are slow release, so the lawn greens up steadily rather than surging and running out.
  • Moves water into the root zone. The added wetting agent helps moisture penetrate rather than run off, which is the real problem on a lawn that sheds water instead of taking it in.
  • Iron for colour and strength. Iron in the blend lifts the colour of tired turf and supports stronger growth.
  • Seasol GOLD for roots. The GOLD treatment supports rapid root development, which is what actually closes a bare patch.

How to use it

Apply during the lawn's active growing season, when the grass is growing hard enough to push up through the mix. Spread it evenly and concentrate it in the low or damaged areas. Work it in with the back of a rake so the leaf tips stay above the mix: a light dressing the grass can grow through is the goal, and burying the leaf kills it. Water in afterwards to activate the nutrients and the wetting agent. A 25L bag is a repair sized quantity, right for patching a worn strip or levelling a few hollows, so work out the area you are fixing before you order.

What it suits

Use. Patchy, thinning or stressed lawn, and high traffic ground worn back to soil: a gateway, a pet run, or the strip the bins cross every week.
