The 1kg pack is a granular, coated product with a full spectrum of boosted trace elements, and it is suitable for all plants including Australian natives. It is the fertiliser for gardeners who want to feed once and then get on with something else.

What it does

  • One application, up to twelve months. The coating releases nutrients gradually instead of dumping them, so there is no feed and famine cycle between applications.
  • Releases when plants need it. Nutrient release tracks the conditions plants grow in, which is why a controlled release product outperforms a soluble feed applied to the same schedule.
  • Boosted trace elements. A full spectrum of trace elements is included, which is what tends to bring a tired, underperforming plant back rather than more nitrogen.
  • Less waste and less leaching. Because nutrients are released slowly, less is lost past the root zone in runoff or through the base of a pot.

How to use it

Sprinkle the granules evenly over the soil or potting mix surface across the root zone, then water in well: the water is what starts the release. Apply at planting to give a new plant a full season of nutrition, or to established plants at any point in the growing year. Reapply after twelve months for continued performance. Use the rates on the pack, which are given by pot size and by garden area, and keep the granules spread out rather than concentrated in one spot against stems or trunks.
