Richgro Granular Sulphate of Potash is a single nutrient fertiliser: a 2.5kg bag of potassium in slow release granular form. Potassium is the element behind fruit quality and flower colour, and it is the one most often missing from a garden fed on organic fertilisers. Use it as a supplement alongside your main feeding programme, not instead of it.

What it does

  • Improves fruit and flower quality. High potassium levels support fruit development and lift flower colour, which is where a nitrogen heavy garden usually falls short.
  • Strengthens the plant. Richgro lists improved resistance to fungal attack among its benefits, which follows from the part potassium plays in building firm cell walls.
  • Slow release granules. The granular form releases potassium steadily over time rather than in one flush, so the supply matches the way a plant draws on it.
