More information
How the catalogue is organised
The bulk of the range is plants and trees, over 2,300 of them, from groundcovers and grasses through hedging, natives, palms, fruit trees and indoor plants to mature ex ground trees. Alongside the green stock sit a few hundred pots and planters in glazed, terracotta, cement and lightweight finishes, plus potting mixes, mulches and fertilisers, a small line of garden tools, vegetable seed, and gift cards for the gardener who has opinions you do not want to guess at.
The fastest ways to narrow it down
The sidebar filters are the shortcut. Filtering by mature height and climate zone removes most of the catalogue in two clicks, and the use filters (screening, pots, poolside, coastal) get you to a workable shortlist. If you already know the plant, search by common or botanical name. If you are starting from a problem instead, a category page like hedging and screening plants reads as a buying guide and does the comparison work for you. Our best seller sits there for a reason: Lilly Pilly 'Resilience' (Syzygium australe) makes a clean, psyllid resistant hedge almost anywhere in the country.
Understanding sizes and prices
The same plant often comes in several grades, and the grade changes the price far more than the variety does. Tubestock starts at a few dollars a plant and catches up faster than most people expect, standard nursery pots are the everyday middle ground, and advanced container and bag stock buys years of growth. At the top end, mature ex ground trees run to several thousand dollars and are quoted with specialist freight. If budget leads the decision, the current specials collect every marked down line in one place.
How delivery works
Everything is delivered Australia wide. Standard delivery starts at $29.95, there is no minimum order, and advanced and large stock is freighted at cost. Plants are packed to travel, and every one carries our 30 day healthy plant guarantee.
Common questions
What size will my plant arrive?
The pot size on the product page is what ships: a 200mm pot is a young plant around knee height for most shrubs, while an advanced bag grade is already a small tree. Each product page describes the grade honestly, so read the size line before comparing prices.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order a single tube or a full garden and it ships either way. Small orders travel in the same careful packing as large ones, so there is no reason to hold back a short list.
What happens if a plant arrives damaged?
Photograph it and contact us. Every plant is covered by the 30 day healthy plant guarantee, and we would rather replace a plant than argue about one.
How do I choose plants for my climate?
Every plant is tagged with the climate zones it performs in, from tropical to cool temperate, arid to coastal. Set the climate filter to your zone and the catalogue only shows plants that suit your conditions, wherever in Australia you garden.
