The Premium Glaze Temple Jar is a double-fired ceramic jar made in one size, 47cm across and 65cm tall, at 28kg empty. It is finished in ten hand-applied glaze colourways from ocean blues to gunmetal, each double fired for depth and for frost resistance. Of the taller jars in this range, it is the one still straightforward to place.

Outdoors. The double firing is what makes the glaze frost resistant, and the colours stay true outside. Tone and pooling vary from jar to jar, which is normal for a hand-glazed finish.

Drainage. It drains from the base. Keep the holes clear and raise the jar on pot feet so water escapes freely, and use a saucer if it stands on an indoor floor. Cover each hole with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, because both clog. Lay 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a quality premium potting mix, never garden soil.
