Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Natural Woven Planter is water hyacinth woven over a metal frame, supplied in four sizes from 230mm to 390mm with a fitted PET plastic pot insert in each one. It is an indoor piece and only an indoor piece. The insert is what makes it easy to live with: you water the plant in the plastic pot, not the basket, and you can swap the whole plant out in seconds.

Sizes and what fits in them

Four sizes, measured across the top. Soil volumes below are the capacity of the plastic insert.

  • 230mm wide, 20cm tall, about 6 to 7 litres. Compact indoor plants and decorative foliage on a stand or side table.
  • 280mm wide, 26cm tall, about 10 to 12 litres. Leafy houseplants at a size you would call a feature.
  • 340mm wide, 28cm tall, about 16 to 18 litres. Floor plants that need a proper root volume.
  • 390mm wide, 30cm tall, about 22 to 25 litres. Statement indoor plants and mature specimens.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Water hyacinth woven over a metal frame, with a PET plastic pot insert. Dust it with a dry cloth. Do not scrub it or wet it down.

Outdoors. This planter is not for outdoors, and that is not a caution, it is a limit. Keep it indoors in a dry, protected spot, away from spills and away from a doorway that takes weather.

Drainage. There are no drainage holes, in the basket or in the insert. Water sparingly and tip out anything that pools, or leave the plant in its nursery pot inside the insert and water it at the sink. No saucer is needed.

What to expect when it arrives

Planters ship empty and packed for transport, with the plastic insert already inside, and no potting mix. Even the 390mm size is an easy one person carry. Pots are delivered Australia wide, with delivery from $29.95.
