Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Cream Holland Planter is a glazed ceramic pot in the traditional Holland shape, finished in a high lustre cream over a lightly textured body. It runs from 240mm up to 460mm, so the same shape can be repeated at different scales down a path or across a balcony. Every size has a drainage hole, which makes it a planting pot rather than a sleeve.

Sizes and what fits in them

Four sizes are sold, and the published dimensions cover the first three.

  • 240mm. Listed at 24cm across and 24cm high, holding roughly 10 to 12 litres. Good for bulbs, herbs and compact indoor foliage.
  • 300mm. Listed at 30cm across and 30cm high, roughly 18 to 22 litres. The size for flowering annuals, a clipped herb or a mid sized houseplant.
  • 370mm. Listed at 37cm across and 37cm high, roughly 40 to 45 litres. Enough soil for a feature plant or a small shrub.
  • 460mm. The largest in the range, for a single specimen shrub where you want the pot to carry the display.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Glazed ceramic with a textured surface beneath the cream glaze. Fired ceramic is stable, and the larger sizes need placing before they are filled.

Outdoors. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor positions. In districts that get real frost, move planted pots under an eave for winter as you would with any glazed ceramic.

Drainage. A drainage hole is included in every size and no saucer is supplied. Indoors, stand the pot on a saucer to protect floors and furniture.
